Welcome screen

After starting the wizard application for the first time, a welcome screen is shown which informs the user about the impending installation or modification of the team repository. This screen is shown the first time an application starts or if it was the last screen before the application was closed.

The prerequisites for the installation of the team repository:

• Running instance of the supported databases (MySql, Sql Express, Sql Server 2005/2008, or Oracle 8-11)

The dialogs used throughout the installation/modification process are designed to be as self-explanatory as possible. If you are experiencing problems regarding a specific installation step, consult this help.
With this application you can do the following:

• Install a new repository schema (you determine the schema name yourself)
• Reinstall an existing or incomplete schema (the schema is incomplete if not all tables were found)
• Modify the existing schema (change the license, add or remove the users)
• Update your old repository schema to the latest schema
• Remove all schema that contain tables known to the repository

Please be aware that reinstalling or removing the existing schema can cause a data loss if the are any important documents stored in that schema.
