Licensing the repository

To enable the repository for a specific database server, you have to enter a valid license. If the repository is not yet licensed an error message appears. Confirm the dialog to get to the licensing screen. Enter the licensee string and the license key into the corresponding fields.

Use the Save button to store the license information. The license information is shown in the status bar of the repository administration window.

For non-timely restricted licenses you have to activate the license. The license can be activated by using the internet connection or offline (the license is activated by using e-mail). In both cases you need a internet connection to accomplish this step. After the repository is licensed all repository functions are enabled. The explorer view shows now the repository folder with the unused document system folder in it. Now the repository is ready to use. Afterwards you need to define some repository users. This step is described in chapter user administration.
