MSI Installation

For details regarding the installation of MSI packages and silent installations in particular, please refer to the instructions on our download page.

Please note: There are known issues when silently installing the MSI on a Windows 7 64-bit environment running Microsoft Visio 2007. While the installation will run correctly, the Process Modeler add-in needs to be activated manually.

1. Run the MSI installation.
2. Start Visio as administrator.
3. On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, and then click Add-ins.
4. Select COM Add-ins in the Manage box and then click Go.
5. Select the check box for the Process Modeler Add-in and then click OK.
6. Re-start Visio.
